  1. What did you think of My Sisters Keeper? I read that and really liked it. It made me think.

  2. You've read so many books, have you ever thought about writing one?

  3. I've never really thought about writing a book. But I did take a two year correspondence class about how to write for children and teenagers. It's hard work! I wrote several articles/stories that maybe someday I will pursue publishing (like in a children's magazine). My teacher thought that a couple had good chances for being published. But I'm so busy I haven't pursued it.

I really liked My Sister's Keeper. It sure does make you think. It was easy to be really judgmental of the mom, and at the same time to have so much compassion for her. It would be terrible to go through all that the family did, but I kept feeling like the fact that their daughter might not live long should have made them cherish their children and really spend time with each of them. But I've also never had to deal with such a debilitating illness and all that attends that. It was very thought provoking.
