Bonneville Shoreline Trail...Bear Canyon Loop

Knowing that my spring break was during a week that my girls had school, I asked my friend Annette if she wanted to go on a hike on either one of the Saturdays or right after school on the Friday that I was off.  Friday worked well for her so we did part of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.  It was a pretty easy trail (with one part going down with sliding rocks where Michelle slipped and bruised her wrist/hand) and the weather was perfect for this trail.  My girls often moan about going for a hike but all three were excited to go (maybe we are all really ready for spring/summer and getting outside more!).  Ella and Michelle were such great helpers with Davlynn.  Davlynn declared all of us "grils" the best buddies ever!

We crossed 3 bridges on this hike.  This was the first bridge and wasn't very far along the trail.

All of the kids enjoyed getting photos between these two huge boulders...all of the kids, that is, except Drake.  He didn't want his photo taken at all.

The weather was beautiful...cloudy and cool, but not cold.  Toward the end, we worried it might rain but it didn't.  It was a perfect day for this hike.

Michelle took several photos of Ella jumping in order to get this perfect shot!

Isn't she beautiful?  And better yet, she is kind and smart and sweet. She genuinely cares about others and shows love to them.

One of the things that I liked about this hike was that you could see the Salt Lake Valley as you hiked...it's such a pretty city!

It was a wonderful way to spend a spring afternoon!
