Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve!  It has become one of my favorite days of the year.  I love the anticipation of Christmas, and I love the time spent with family.  This year was extra special because Christmas Eve was on Sunday, so we also got to go to church and worship our Savior.  We were able to see so many beloved ward members, hear beautiful music, and hear wonderful talks from our Bishopric and a member of our stake presidency.  Then in the evening on Christmas Eve, we read Luke 2.  The girls open Christmas pajamas.  We create and light luminaries.

Michelle wasn't excited to have her photo taken apparently.

Around 8:30 P.M. we headed to Alfredo's aunt's house to celebrate Darla's 4th birthday.  Then we visited and played cards and watched tv until midnight. At midnight, we had a delicious dinner and then opened gifts.  I didn't take any photos once we went to Alfredo's family's house...but we had a wonderful time and got home around 2 AM.
