Yellowstone

Over UEA weekend, we headed to Yellowstone.  My Mom and Mike came with us.  Leo, Annette and their kids also came.  On Friday, we left about 6:30 AM and drove to Yellowstone.  We ate lunch and then headed into the park.  We went to Norris and Mammoth Hot Springs.  Unfortunately, right after we got out of the car to take a photo by a small waterfall, a bird pooped on Gabby.  She was so upset.  Fortunately, we had a change of clothes, but she's pretty unhappy in the first few photos.

We saw several elk.   We also saw bison.

We rented a cabin in Island Park for all of us.  It was really nice.  We made great food for dinner both nights and we played games and really enjoyed the time together.

On Saturday, Leo and Annette and their family stayed at the cabin and just relaxed.  We went back to Yellowstone.  We saw Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Yellowstone Lake and so on.   It's so beautiful.  We never saw any wolves or bears :( But we had a great time together.
