On Thursday, July 28, Michelle had her annual fiddle concert. This year she played about 17 or 18 songs including: Danny Boy (my favorite), Irish Washerwoman, Old Joe Clark, Scotland the Brave, Ashokan Farewell, Swallowtail Jig & Kesh Jig and Morrison's Jig.
Michelle's favorite song that she played this year was Devil's Dream. She also loves Blackberry Blossom but she didn't get it all the way learned/memorized this summer so she is looking forward to playing it in next year's concert. She did a great job...they all did. It was such a great concert.
My uncle Phil always liked hearing her concerts, especially the fiddle concert. I thought a lot about him as she played this year. We miss him.
Our dear friends, the Smiths, came to Michelle's concert. It was so great to have them there. We sure love them!
