Edible Art

On Tuesday afternoons, the girls and I go to an edible art class. (It's through Granite Peaks community ed.) The girls have really enjoyed it.

These are the projects we've done so far. (I want to record them so I can remember to do them again sometime.)

Week 1: used cookie cutters to cut Rice Krispies into fun shapes. Then frosted them and added candies to decorate them.
Week 2: made trains: pretzel sticks for the train tracks, swiss rolls and nutter butters(maybe?) for the cars, crackers or oreos for the wheels, a big marshmellow for the smokestack, frosting to hold it together
Week 3: made pizza faces (used all the toppings to make faces: pepperoni, olives, ham, pineapple, cheese, etc.) and twisted breadsticks into fun shapes
Week 4 (today): pudding with food coloring added used to paint on plates/paper, candies to decorate Michelle made a flower design and a heart and some other shapes. Ella smeared the pudding and then stuck candies all over it. Check out the pictures of their work:

Michelle painted a flower in the middle (pink and orange... it really looks quite good up close) with circles surrounding the flower
